Brutus was at a local shelter in pitiful shape. This picture was taken before he started deteriorating in the shelter environment. He came to us in March 2019 as a walking skeleton. He had a large wound down to the bone on one leg from stress licking. It is thankfully healing now that he is in a more peaceful environment. He is gaining weight and becoming healthier every day. He’s a true sweetheart. He gives great hugs. He loves wearing sweaters to stay warm. We’ll know more about him with time as he feels better. Contact us if you’re interested in meeting Brutus.
