Cherry

Cherry came to Saving Grace around 2010. She was lucky enough to escape a house fire with her owner and her friend Zeus. The Red Cross asked us to keep them until their owner could relocate. Cherry waited and waited, but her owner did not come back for her. Zeus found his forever home in the summer of 2017, but Cherry is still waiting.

Cherry is full of life and personality. She adores one on one time especially if it entails cuddling in her chair. She is sweet just like a cherry! She can get along with dogs that are calm like her, close to her in size, and respectful of her boundaries. She enjoys hanging out with Chance in the play yard. She would likely not do well with smaller dogs or cats.

Cherry was diagnosed with diabetes in October 2017.  She now requires two daily insulin injections, and has to eat a prescription food.  Cherry would greatly benefit from a foster home, or a sponsor for her medical needs and glucose managing diet.  She would love to find her forever home that will love her and care for her as she deserves.
