hank

Hank came to Saving Grace in October 2019. He was surrendered to Lubbock Animal Services by his owner. He was very skinny and suffering from a painful case of happy tail, which is caused by his tail wagging in a small space and hitting the walls until it breaks the skin and bleeds. It has thankfully healed now that he is in a larger run. Hank was also heartworm positive, but has now finished his treatment. He's healthy and a good weight now!

Hank is a talker and just wants your love and attention. He is great with all other dogs, male or female, big or small. He can peacefully coexist with them all.  Hank enjoys riding in the car and is a great passenger.  We aren’t sure of his age, but he is an adult and probably less than 5 years old. He has a lot of energy and would love to be your partner for running, hiking, and any other adventures!  Hank deserves a home that will care for him and not give up on him like his old owner.  Contact us if you are interested in meeting Hank.
